Cuttable Combination Rock Bolts
Cementitious grouts are intended for use with the CTBolt. The bolt has an expansion shell for preloading, which enables tunnel or mine heading advancement without grouting right away. After preloading, the Grout Bell permits grouting. For long-term protection, an anti-corrosion tube runs the entire length of the bolt. Various material forms of this bolt are offered to meet design specifications. Bolt lengths are typically measured in 200mm steps, ranging from 1,200mm to 9,000mm. There are also non-standard lengths available. The heavy-duty polyethylene bags shield the threads of the CTBolt when it is packaged in bundles. Except for washer plates, which are delivered loose, all bolts are supplied complete with attachments. A special combination rock bolt system is the CTBolt. It provides the benefits of both a completely grouted rock bolt and an instant point anchorage. Fast installation and instant anchorage are made possible by a two-step installation process, and flexibility in terms of working cycles is provided by independent and separate grouting.
